this is mostly related to skyhammer,
why don’t we have an option to leave, give us dishonourable but let us leave!
as it is, when skyhammer unfortunately pops we cannot avoid it,
we must either attempt to tolerate it or AFK for 15 minutes,
relogging doesn’t work, switching chars doesn’t work.

do you intentionally want people to be stuck in the map that never should have been made? sending rage tells to the PVEer that picked it?

let us leave, give us a stack of dishonour, but let us leave…

You can leave whenever you want. Esc → Exit to desktop.

but if you try logging in on any character you get put back in that infernal map.

I don’t think encouraging people to bail on games is something arenanet will consider at this point, nor do I think they should. If they wont even let us leave the HOTM in queue, they’re not going to let us leave games that easily.

Let’s encourage more 4v5 than what we already have! Brilliant!

I like Skyhammer, and I don’t like being stuck in a 4v5 on any map.

If you hate Skyhammer with such passion, just play ranked. It’s not an option in ranked arena, and being that it’s the off season it’s not much different from unranked right now.

Skyhammer is not as bad as it used to be, now that you can dodge the cannon. It’s still better than courtyard.

If you want to avoid it, play ranked.

Actually a surrender button would be better. For unranked and hotjoin at least. And only if whole party agrees to surrender. Every other way of rage quit should be punished to the ground.

I don’t think a leave button would be a great idea….
Aside from the 5v4’s mentioned above, I do not think there
should be any temptations to do anything dishonorable.

The voting system is in place, there’s even a random element
that CAN allow for a map with even 1 vote to be chosen.

If you really despise that map and you want a 0% chance of
playing said map, you should consider playing Practice or Ranked.

If that is not an option for you, you should consider joining an unranked
match with a full team to increase your chances of getting a map you
want to play.

Play ranked, leaderboards mean nothing right now.

We will just afk or jump down over and over.
There is no way you can force player to do something.

then why are you playing? You dont like the map, the builds, other players killing you? Why are you in pvp?

Suffering for leavers… always nice to see it.

Every time you sign up for unranked you take a risk that skyhammer, spirit watch or courtyard will pop up. You click that button knowing that. If a map you hate happens to come up, at least have the decency and try your best to win.
If you do not want to play those maps, you have the option to play ranked. Click on that and stop complaining.

Jumping down gives enemy team +5 for kill and it’s faster than any form of “spawn camping”.

You know what maps are for unranked game. So if you join unranked play you accept the situation. Intentional feeding or going afk because of childish rage should be punished very, very painfully.
