I have been trying to climb ranks. 2-3 matches the servers crashed and I got a loss. Now I’m ranked a lot lower.

I’m not even going to dignify this issue with a question. You know the issue. I am guessing the Anet response can be summarized in the phrase “deal with it”

they kept coming back up just long enough to enter a match and lag out.

Are some unhappy nerds trying to ddos the servers? All that pent up rage can be bad for health. . .

Well I am hearing it’s everyone, all servers. It seemed to affect some in PvP more than others. I just suggest that if possible the ratings from the hour or so of matches during this “hacker attack” be stricken from the record.

I doubt your staff wants everyone affected to submit a ticket since its a global issue.

unplayable, entire team except 1 guy didn’t dc at least 3 times during the match, 500-120 rofl

I just won a match because the other team lagged so hard….. I don’t deserve it any more than I deserved to lose due to lag the other matches.

Now I can’t even click “join” in PvP. I click it but nothing happens and I don’t queue up. Game is messed up again. Whoever was able to queue is going to have a lag/dc match.

I can’t even click “Play” on my character screen sometimes and I haven’t been able to play a match in the past couple hours due to this severe lag/crashing. People in map chat are talking about the crashing every time I manage to get into the mists.

I understand crashes, but when a crash happens during a match then what? That’s my question because I lost a few matches in a row simply due to this issue and it dropped me a lot in the rankings.

This is complete balderdash. I demand reprimand for these losses due to ANet’s server issues.

Last time this type of game-wide lag that caused crashing happened, I got Dishonorable. I submitted a ticket about it, they didn’t respond until the debuff wore off only to tell me there is nothing they could do about it. I tried asking for some form of “compensation” (lol), since it was through no fault of my own, they said no. My suggestion is to forget about doing solo or team que tonight.

I guess the server admin(s) tried to do skyhammer but got punted by a engineer 10 times in a row

Hopefully they can restore your rank, cuz it seems its not anets fault.
DDoS attacks have hit a few major gaming companies recently, the biggest in history in fact.

A couple losses doesn’t mean anything in the long run, get over it.
