Despite the tooltip, the revive radius is smaller than 600. The green circle you see when ground targetting seems to be the actual revive radius, which is around 360.

The banner will revive players for 100% of their total down state health and 100% of their normal health meaning that through debuffs (such as Poison and/or Agony), the banner’s revival capabilities can be negated to the point that the affected player will not revive at all, and only regain a portion of their downed health. This is a common issue in fractals, as levels with Mistlock Instability: Agonizing Expedition can cause players to have multiple stacks of agony, thus nullifying the effects completely.

If that radius is 360 then what do you think Signet of Undeaths radius is? 180???? Pretty sure warbanner has a large radius that that or else signet of undeath is wrong as kitten.

Battle Standard is already a good and viable choice and comparable great elite skill. It does not need a buff.

I am not in favor of reducing the baseline recharge. Instead, ANET should add a 20% banner recharge into the “Inspiring Battle Standard” trait. That way people could take the trait if they choose. The end result would be a recharge of 192 seconds AND would heal allies while it was active.

I would prefer to see 20% banner recharge trait as baseline instead. Will add at least some diversity to warrior builds instead of forcing everyone and his mother into discipline line.

Sure, but instead of ressing, Banner should just instantly stomp/finish someone kinda like Daredevil’s elite. Res utils isn’t fun to deal with anyways but using the banner regen together with 3 shouts wouldn’t sound too bad.

banner is a strong skill that can turn around a whole teamfight and with that sometimes the game. the high cd is ok imo because of that. If the radius is really wrong it just needs to be fixed. but not a recharge reduction. With 120s you would have a banner every teamfight. thats too strong. Also with the poison aspect: how about casting banner in time, or precasting it? or cleansing poison.?
