match ppl based on leagues tiers pips not MMR

we will have 6 leagues
1. amber (lowest)
2. … something …
3. … something …
4. … something …
5. … something …
6. legendary (highest, repeatable)
from the blog post, we know that amber division have 3 tiers, 5 pips per tier. from the screen shot there, we know that topaz division have 5 tiers, 5 pips per tier.
since there is not much revealed, lets assume that, it is always 5 pips per tier, and higher divisions have more tiers to grind:
1. 3 tiers, 5 pips per tier, 15 pips total
2. 4 tiers, 5 pips per tier, 20 pips total
3. 5 tiers, 5 pips per tier, 25 pips total
4. 6 tiers, 5 pips per tier, 30 pips total
5. 7 tiers, 5 pips per tier, 35 pips total
6. 8 tiers, 5 pips per tier, 40 pips total
note: the above is purely my speculation of how the tiers and pips may be.
if my guess is correct, then the pvp league will be quite grindy, unless your team constantly gets matched up with matches that grant you more pips for winning.
the first division is amber, the starter division, where everyone graduates eventually, because we do not lose pips in the amber division.
in the 2nd and 3rd division, you can lose pips but not tiers, so you will eventually graduate if you avoid lots of lose streaks and get lucky with win streaks.
in the 4th and 5th division, you can’t graduate if you have lose streaks often. you need to have lots of win streaks, and can only afford 1 or 2 loses in between if you wish to graduate.
the 6th division is repeatable, as in, if you graduate it, you can repeat it.
i assume anyone who has read the blog post will understand this, yes?
at the moment, queue times are extremely long, because the match making systems attempts to match players according to a so called MMR rating.
to top that off, players are forced to wait for another 2 minutes when everyone is loaded into the map. more down time for players, forcing players to wait 4 – 5 minutes before a game can even begin.
anyway, if match making is based on league, tiers and pips, i think the queue may actually be faster.

john, amber league, tier 2, 2/5 pips,
mary, 2nd league, tier 2, 4/5 pips
jane, 3rd league, tier 4, 3/5 pips
sue, 2nd league, tier 3, 1/5 pips

in red team, we have
joe, 2nd league, tier 3, 1/5 pips
maria, 4th league, tier 1, 2/5 pips
jenny, 3rd league, tier 2, 3/5 pips
susan, 2nd league, tier 4, 4/5 pips
jessica, 4th league, tier 4, 3/5 pips
match prediction should predict blue team winning the match, since they have one legendary division player in their team. as simple as that.
