I usualy dont take the topics like “why conquest is boring”, “Remove downed mechanic” etc, serious. I don’t brag about any changes on the professions, I just play the game, because it’s fun, but not anymore. 10 games in a row I am getting ranks 1-10 in my team. once we were 1,3,13,31,31 versus full premade group of ranks 40+. It’s just impossible to enter the leaderboards while joining solo(I am constantly about 90%). That’s why I stop, I can’t take it anymore. I just don’t get it, is it that hard to fix? To not put ranks lower than 20 or even 10 in such games? It’s been like that forever………

edit: I just read another thread where someone wants thieves’ initiative removed. I just ROFL literally. That’s very funny. But wanting the matchmaking system fixed is not fun at all!

we know we know…they’re looking at this…..is gonna be fixed and maybe they would split solo and premades soon…like 2014-15….

Probably because there aren’t very many people solo queuing, so you get stuck with who is in the queue… premades.

I solo queued into 5 top premades in a row yesterday, with myself usually the only high rank in my group. Game is dumb without a team.

I don’t play solo queue anymore because of this.

Hotjoin hero unless I get a premade.

They should merge the european and american pvp servers to remedy the low pvp population then split soloq/premades

Yeah I have to agree with some of the others. Its probably a population problem and not a matchmaking problem. And I think matchmaking goes off of your rating and not your spvp rank.

No theres plenty solo queing, the reason why your facing those 40s teams is because they are in the same area as you on the leaderboards. I have a bunch of friends in the 80%-500 range that all they do is premade all day long, and when I group with them, most of time we lose against solo q but win against the 40s and 50s premade, I know its dumb but we seem to do better against people that are predictable, and solo q is very unpredictable.

However if your smart, you would friend ostrich eggs, see when hes in hearts of mist, when he is there, solo q and keep an eye on your roster, if all 5 people show and hes not on it, disband and reque.

Same goes with other people that solo q a lot, find out whose good, friend them and try and solo q when they solo q. Small chance it might not work because they could be in a premade, but I’ve played a game with ostrich eggs at 88% before.

Why ANet didn’t just copy WoW’s queuing system, I’ll never know…

I love this game, but the system of creating games and letting players join them is just painful. This is one of the biggest reasons I just stayed away from PvP for so long.

either there’s just not many people pvping or however it makes teams and finds matches is just straight up broken.

all you have to do is add people on your team and opposing team to your friends list then go look at their leaderboard rank, as an 70-80% i find myself often times getting teamed up with people under 50% vs top 1000 premades, broken system is broken.
