i explain that you still need cap points in order to not lose ladder rank
they say they dont care about ladder
i lose a rank point cause 4v5

what does this have to do with matchmaking? it can’t solve the problem with some people being stupid and careless… the fact that someone don’t care about rank doesn’t mean he is low ranked…

You don’t lose rank points if you are not in a party with the deserter.

they dont desert – they go afk or refuse to fight

matchmaking should also look at where they are on the ladder

or you should be able to report or block them so you dont get them in your team again

Do what everyone else does, friend them and don’t queue if they are in Heart of the Mists. Wait til they are on a PvP map.

I have to agree though, something went bad in the matchmaking. I lost rank points this a.m. with three badly matched games in a row. I’d be fighting 3 and my “team” wouldn’t cap anything. Also went against the same party team twice with pugs.

It makes me so annoyed when this sort of thing happens.
Sad thing is we could program the perfect matchmaking system and/or dishonor system and give it to Anet free and they still wouldn’t implement and fix this rubbish we have. They have been completely incompetent when it comes to this.
