does using mf boosters and mf food effect boxes you get from pvp reward tracks?

would like an anet official to confirm

I think they said so before the patch when salvaging PvP stuff could give you those essences of luck.

Always though that MF only affect drop from trash.

true for pve, but our chests are supposed to simulate mobs (like a skale chest is supposed to simulate the loot a skale would drop)

also i think i remember them saying that MF will effect the loot,
but they didn’t say if consumables like MF boosters will increase it.
