Tried to queue ranked for ~8 mins no match. Looked at patch notes and noticed WvW has a legendary backpack. RIP?

Not really a nail in the coffin for sPvP. More like ANet has finally gave WvWers the same options PvPers and PvEers had for over a year now. If this causes PvP to completely die then, it was already a dead game mode walking. Far before this additive to WvW.

Give it a couple weeks. WvW isnt for everyone and some ppl will realize this and leave WvW and go back to their preferred game mode.

I might be wrong, so ignore me if I am.

But, you can’t play ranked PvP during offseason, only unranked. If I recall correctly. And, based on the GW2 page, season starts next week.

yeah wait for season 7 start and see how ranked queues are like. They made it not as expensive to get ascended gear i understand so it will bring some people back to pvp. I know i was disappointed with the huge cost increases in S6 which was a factor in my decision to spend 90% of my time in WvW during S6. For S7 I may end up splitting it 50/50 between WvW/PvP.

Maybe, just maybe, WvW having a legendary will push all the crappy PvEers away from PvP. WvW has a lot more room for crap.

Well when it’s an off season queing for ranked is as good as two tits on a nun. Play unranked till the 13th and you’ll be OK. That is until the usual suspects start their match manipulation game that they think nobody knows about but the majority is starting to find out….slowly, but it is getting there. I’m not mentioning names, you idiots know who you are.

I’m not mentioning names, you idiots know who you are.

But since ANet is not doing anything about. Don’t that make match manipulation unofficially legal? In that case shouldn’t anybody who want to beat the match manipulators at their own game. Gather a group of their own and counter the match manipulators with some match manipulation and win trading of their own.

I mean there is really no counter to such things other then themselves. And if ANet is going to give their silent blessing towards the match manipulators. Then shouldn’t that be the new META or (Most Effective Tactic Available)?

I believe that started mid way through last season once ppl did catch on and some spilled the beans on how exactly they were doing it. Isn’t it ironic that Naru’s boyfriend Nos mysteriously was taken from #1 on the leaderboards and completely vanished almost overnight? Ya strange isn’t it, as strange as Anet doing it quietly because they wanted to hide the fact one of their golden shower children and a former ESL player would have that much of an ego to cheat in the leaderboards to make sure he was still “pro” when it was absolutely meaningless to do so except to only stroke his epen15
