how u wanna make any competition in this game ,if 3 slots are taken allready :

2 couse of mobility:thief ,mesmer
1 couse of passive blocks+healing +stability :guard

if u dont nerf shotbow 5 oon thief ,thief will always taje 1 slot
if u dont nerf portal mesmer will always take 1 slot
if u dont nerf bunker gurds they will always taje 1 slot ,2 years guards always have their place in team !!!!

so u have 8 proffesions in game and for 5 of them thare are only 2 slots ,that is the main mistake that destroys any competetive playing in this game ……..

But but but, isn’t the meta 2xEngi + 2xEle? I am confused.

yea forgot TCG wining everything with this 2 ele and 2engi ,sizer is so op engi ,and healseth on ele ,and tage really show what engi can do last esl ……

NA and EU different meta. More coordinated teams are able to run comps with more DPs specs which allows teams to drop targets a lot faster.

Running full bunker or bunkerish(celestial) is a safer, less rewarding option and is more an NA thing.

i will bump it ,couse i see that devs dont understand that problem

The devs all live in NA.
Pvp is a minigame to whole company.
Even from pvp team, most focus on general features, not on high rated balance.
Even grouch is only human, the best he can do is watch or ask poeple whats going on on EU. (and then share the results with his very pvp oriented boss ).
