Hello! So it’s the 22 october, seven in the morning at least here in sweden. Will patch hit us today or we have to wait until tomorrow to get the americans a chance to catch up in time? Can’t really find any info about it

Patches are globally released in american time afaik.

Also, where did they say that the halloween patch will contain the paid tournament stuff? Best not to get your hopes up just in case.

i really hoped it would come with the “mad king” patch", but as i just looked at the -german- patch notes for it: THERE WAS NO WORD OF PAID TOURNEYS ANYMORE. but i do think positive and will relog at 18-19 CET to check it out.

It was in the first news posted 1 or 2 weeks ago …
But then it disappeared when a new announcement was made last week.

I bet they were too busy polishing that money making PvE haloween kitten event :/

The only hint we have is what game director said, by mistake i guess:
quote: “We’ll be going into more detail specific about competitive pvp next week on the blog including screenshots and feature descriptions”

Note as he said we will get screenshots and feature descriptions but I think we already got them couple days ago, and of course we wont get what/when/why .. just look at a few mockups for some patch someday.
Back to september .. waiting for pvp updates and bug fixing then all we get is pvp blog … soon™

And I agree as time flies, we wont see it in europe on 22nd … for the mad king pve thing

iam kind of confused now. will there be pPVP with madkingpatch, yes/no sirs?

What did they remove paid tournaments from the plans? We all read about it being released with todays patch. They cant just ninja remove it without telling us now… can they? They also said they care so much about the pvp community and we will get so much love and so many hugs? Because who know, perhaps pvp people will buy tournament tickets for their irl cash? A source of income, perhaps larger than a bat costume or what kind of costumes they now decide to sell to the pve roleplayers.
Wouldn’t they have said if they had change of plans? Or was the past answer to some dude in this forum about another upcoming blog post – this time with pictures – a replacement for our patch?

Ah, nvm, in the answer in the other forum post colin said this:

“We’ve actually posted in a number of threads here (now no longer on the front page) detailing what our plans are in the near future for SPvP, as well as posted a blog post that summarizes what’s coming shortly, and the build note preview on paid tournaments for the Halloween update. We’ll be going into more detail specific about competitive pvp next week on the blog including screenshots and feature descriptions, and of course will continue to update in these forums as well.”
So it will be in todays, or well tomorrows, patch. Just another extra day of waiting time :P
