You want your ESL to go anywhere? Then fix the most important, clutch decision making point in pvp… Stomps. Currently, the animation for stomping while under the effects of slow or quickness (sometimes even normal stomps..) does not sync up to the actual stomp killing the player.. This is beyond frustrating. I down a player, get slowed and then attempt stomping. As I do so my character proceeds to finish the animation, I have to wait for the kill for another second or so even though the animation for killing him has already happened.. Same goes for quickness.. Even though my character races through the animation and punches the ground then proceeding to stand upright again The enemy remains alive because I start walking away since the animation depicted me finishing them. Sometimes the finisher will not kill them at all regardless of stomp bug! This has to change.. These moments are the game changing moments that make or break an entire match. If this problem is fixed soon, then it also has to be fixed for the daredevils impact strike finish and scrapers drone finish as I have experienced the same issue with both of these. Please make this happen soon.. It literally ruins pvp single handedly. Completely kills that rewarding feeling of outplaying your opponent when you finish them in quickness only to find out that even though quickness was applied they are not dead when you land the stomp.. Shortly after the failed stomp their team member reses them, flipping the fight, killing you…Fix this.

+1 I logged in just to comment on this. This needs addressed and fixed, and quickly. If they don’t take care of this before the big tournie then it will be quite entertaining, and not in a good way.

+1 I would also add that the thief elite stomp has an unintended behavior where if it lands the third hit right as the target goes into the down state it just says “invulnerable” and does not finish the player and puts the skill on full cool down. example: enemy is at 25% health first 2 hits of elite take it to 2% health, random skill kills target, 3rd hit of elite hits a millisecond later and does nothing

It’s the most infuriating thing to know that I COULD be stomping my opponent a lot faster (playing with Shiro), but can’t because it will likely bug out and make me take longer.

+1, half of the times the downed player isnt even stomped when stomping with Quickness and we need to re-do the stomping..

Honestly that’s true with this mega power creep of elite specs. You just spam a few abilities and blow a downed player up in the same time it takes to stomp them. It’s easy when everyone is throwing 5k-10k crits around like it’s an auto attack.

The stomp finished, I didn’t even move in the case the source was desync related, but no. The stomp finished, but the opponent was not stomped.

Great game changing bug.

The amount of people in downstate shown in wrong locations, the missing finishers, getting finished while stealthed…. there are quite some issues.

Though the character animation is not synced, the Dragon BaII Z glowing ball of light is synced to the actual stomp completion. Just keep your eye on the ball and ignore the body animation.
