‘the legend myth’ is intentionally throwing ranked matches in ranked spvp. They have thrown the last two matches I participated in (one on each side). They are even bragging about it.The below is one small example example.

You are wasting your breath at this point. ANet is "apparently fine with their so called “top tier’ed” players abusing this type of behavior. It pretty much is 1/3 of the reason “I” no longer plays Ranked PvP in GW2 anymore.

If ANet actually punished this players who not only blatantly do this. But also brag about doing it. Many many more of us would be still playing GW2’s Ranked PvP. Regardless of league or rank.

It’s a completely irreversible fact that cheats make a game less fun. Even more disheartening to see this cheaters brag in the open, with no recourse. At the expense of the legit PvPers competition and fun. The more you allow cheaters to cheat in your game. The more legit players lose interest in it.

My solution at this point would be to publicly name, shame, and punish these cheaters. Have like a wall of shame when the heads of the suspended/banned cheaters accounts rests. For the whole of the community to view and use as a warning. That such behavior is not only unacceptable. But will also have both mechanical and social consequences. That’s what “I” would do at this point if I was ANet. However I doubt ANet would even take such a anti-cheat approach, or any at all.

That is not normal tactful throwing for the purposes of smurfing and downing player ratings, that’s just troll throwing. He’s either doing it for lolz or he felt his team was so bad that he’d sit and tell the enemy team exactly what his team was doing so they could more easily beat his team.

But yeah, 100% agree with you. This epidemic of match throwing is out of control and today I even noticed strange activity in unranked… You know… things like your screen shot there.

There are some alt accounts that need to be identified and banned.
