problems with combat.
Passives and aoe is an issue. HoT and june patch basically added more aoe and passives applying condis. Just fire away, no thought needed.

if people used Water fields again this wouldn’t be a issue but from what i’ve seen nearly no one uses waterfields or Team condi clears that much anyway.
easly countered if people used the shouts to clear condis with rune of the trooper ect.
this current meta is more about Team sustain/damage with back up support to help prevent/lessen the Burst damage increases that came with HoT condi or direct.
i’d tell players to stop specing so many traits and skills into damage but that won’t work as most just go full damage and expect things to go Perfectly / swimmingly with no issues.
ps Condi is not a Skilless playstyle when you face teams with the correct Applications for team support/condi removal support aka Shout warroirs/shout druid beastmasters and maybe correctly set up eles.
in a team of 5 , if set up for consistance condi clear support atleast 2/5 should be speced for damage+support or condi+support for clearing Conditions/migrating direct damage (in this case Lingering light for druids is a perfect option but most just go for ancient seeds because of the " damage obsession" when it comes to Soloque)

It doesnt work like that youre not always going to be placed with a team build the way your talking about. So to have some kind of method of slowing down the all the condi spam seems like a good idea to me.im not saying stop, or remove condi all together im juat suggestion a method of slowing down the application of constant condition of 3+ emeny players.

I always thought whirl/projectile finishers on LIGHT fields cleansed conditions. But I could be wrong.
But I’m thinking, you meant specific skills that removed conditions while applying a water field. So yes, using condition cleanses is the solution to conditions on you.
But a big problem is that condition cleanses have long cooldown, especially compared to skills that apply conditions. They could reduce recharge on condition cleanses or add resistance to all condition cleanses, that way I cleanse a condition and get a 2sec invuln to incoming conditions or something to that effect.

did i say Waterfields removed condis no , did you see the OR in that sentence .
Waterfields with strong support gives Chunks of Hp splashes and decent Regen that help with condi Medigation in addition to or helps support condi clear applications .
just using condi clear alone doesn’t lower the tick amounts or Manage the damage that comes from condis all you are doing is Removing then it gets reapplied theres no Management.
With 3+ enemys The constant application of condi makes it almost impossible to do anyrhing else other then focus on healing and cleansing if there was some way to have have immunity after you cleans a kitten ton of condi it willl just make combat more immersive for all parties
