it seems like some of the new hot elite specs wants to introduce anti downed skills.

we have gravedigger and finishing blow

that’s nice, but why limit it to new hot specs?
why not upgrade some existing skills to be more hurting towards downed opponents as well? what do you think? what existing skills do you think should be buffed to be more hurting towards downed opponents?

my proposed upgraded version:

Damage against downed foes.: (3.0)
Damage against foes under 50% health.: (3.0)
Damage against downed foes under 50% health.: (6.0)
Range: 130

basically this will do quad damage against downed foes under 50% health. basically upgrading them into defeated foes.

so, what skills do you propose to be upgraded?

Everyone already has literal finishers as a base. It makes sense for necromancer and thief’s to have skills that are good against downed foes (to an extent warriors too), but I don’t think the other classes should. It especially wouldn’t make seneed on a guardian, ele, or engineer. I’d say the only one who.it would make any.semblance of sense on is ranger using rifle:
put down: fire a powerful shot from your rifle, knocking down foes. Deals more damage the lower a foes health is, and even more if they are downed. 100 range.

A little macabre but it’s all I can think of.

I rather that Final Thrust gets replaced. It is a power skill in a condi weapon.

It is anti-synergy.

5x Warrior, 5x Ranger, 4x Elementalist, 4x Engineer,
