hi i have a few questions about pvp in this game, is it equalized? i mean i know when you enter the pvp lobby you get max lv and all the skills, but what about the gears? does gear matter? if you get good gears from playing the game outside of pvp can you use that gear in pvp or is it all equalized?

idk if this is a stupid question but when i was playing i never got to endgame , around lv50 and i could play pvp anytime i wanted because of that system , made me feel like doing pve is useless in this game if your only interest is pvp , because you dont need to lv up to get your skills , so thats why im asking that for the gear.

In PvP it does not matter if you are a new player or someone who has played for years, accept for looks and a few stats that are locked behind in game gold. I am talking about Pure sPvP though, some do mix it with WvW and that is different.

In case you are still unsure. In PvP your gear has NO stats. 0. You get your stats from the amulet, rune set and sigils. Everybody has access to the same ones. The only thing you get from playing PvE, that goes over to PvP is armor/weapon skins. Skins have no stats (other than sex appeal/swag ).

But in pvp(HotM) you need wear ur armor\leggins\boots bcouse if you unequip them you will lose thougness.
