was wondering what or why upon death causes variations of respawn time. sometimes its only a second or 2, sometimes its up to 19 seconds. I am fairly new to pvp so still have much to learn. Thank you in advance to anyone who answers.

I don’t know. I think other games I played also have some time that seems to be “random”. I think there is a timer in the backround running between1 and let’s say 20(if it really can be up that high)… would not be random. If you are lucky you die if the timer is at 1.

Maybe it’s like this. Or does someone now other info? I think Custom Arenas have some option for differend respawn timer modes something had been mentioned?

Every x:45 and x:25 the countdown is at 20s in Hotjoin play.
It used to be the same in tournaments but you just time your stomp so that they’re faced with a 20second res time every death.

Currently the time for Tournament play is a fixed 15seconds.

also if you click where the revive button will be you’ll automatically revive when the timer is up
