If I give a teammate the retaliation boon, does the damage from that retal get added to my damage total or his?

The other player’s damage I think. That’s just a guess tho

Because it shows on the combat log from the other person and not yours, I believe that it goes for his total damage. But the retaliation damage scales with the power of the retaliation’s source.
