Actual reward for participating(not winning) in candidate minigames(arena or survival) is a chest with:
1k of karma
~9silver
1 green or better pve item
So my idea is to give the same reward for playing tourneys. It wont break the economy since it is still fine with same rewards for minigames, instead it will give us what we need – more sence to play.

I would love for a NPC in the mists be there to join in the PvP mini games over the last year. I never done any of them because it involved leaving the mists.

There is no karma or gold sink for PvP’ers they don’t need to repair or use waypoints. I’m not saying they should make sinks. I’m just trying to point out the fact that with your suggestion PvP’ers will just keep accumulating these currencies.

Theres no glory sink. As well as karma sink.
You may go to LA(not that hard, Theres even portal yay!) and spend ur gold gearing ur pve char for mmmhm wvw lets say.
