sPVP blue and red dyes. Keep them.
If there was a spectator mode, then the mode COULD have Red/Blue dyes.
However, for the people in the game, I believe it should be their choice whether they want to see the red/blue dyes or not. To be honest, it’s easier to remember a person by their odd colors rather then their name.
If anything, make it a toggable option. I really use the colors to help myself identify what teamates and enemies are.
I think the colors are good but our secondary colors should show at least.
I tend to just go by the red names, just like in every game, ever.
Seems to work fine.
I’m with Knote. Names already act like little team flags. Don’t see how armor dyes can mess that up.
Do more pvp and see if you rely on the color of the people to identify the teams… i can assure you that you will never do that.

I say remove the dyes. Who the hell looks at characters anyway? I’m constantly tabbing through the names. Never understood why they didn’t allow costumes in PvP in GW1, I mean really how is that even an exploit?
Everyone has blue and red names above their heads. I never had an issue identifying team mates in GW1.
Don’t know why they didn’t just stay with the color capes….
Liek i said, make it an OPTION. Doesn’t just remove them completely
Remove the red and blue dyes. Make it an option for your screen to see them for people who have obvious eye sight issues cough.
Red/blue is lame. What’s the point of getting a cool dye collection when you can only see it in hearts of the mist. I would support red/blue cloaks though.
make it an OPTION
“I would support red/blue cloaks though.”
Awww yeah, gimme a red cloak and call me Superman kittenes

This. I actually enjoyed seeing what color schemes or styles my enemies came up with, and targeting them based on the name color was more than adequate.
I only PvP, yet I’m loaded with dyes that are pointless for me to use. Kind of sucks.
Even if the IDs aren’t good enough for you (what’s wrong with your eyesssss?), then you could at least just give players auras or a colored disc below their feet. Any solution that allows people to actually enjoy their own color scheme is better than what we have now.
Although the amusing side to that is if it’s turned off, I’m sure people will give themselves full red or blue color schemes just to confuse the people that can’t recognize IDs.
