Hi guys,

correct me if I’m wrong, but are there any incentives for joining the losing team in a hot-joint spvp match other than moral ones?

If not, wouldn’t it be nice if A-net would give them?

Here’s why: So far, if I join a losing team and the other ones are just bulldozing us down, this will not change till the next map. This is because new people are very likely to join the winning team, no the losing team (“I want my daily pvp win done”). So not that the winning team is much better anyway, they are also outnumbering the losing team most of the time.
This leads to me getting frustrated and leaving or enduring till mapchange. Is anyone else experiencing that?

Dont play hotjoin

I can honestly say I join the losing team everytime, I play hotjoins which is usually only for a 15-20 minute warmup.

Way I see it if I’m playing hotjoin with people who aren’t always as skilled as ranked players I don’t mind being handicapped, and I don’t mind when some players join the winning team to just get there daily…. if that’s how they plan on getting it they probably won’t be very good anyway…

The current Daily win make people switch to winning side. Too much binary.Should change it to getting X point from certain class. So when you win you got enough point to finish the daily and if you lose you still progress.

You get the reward of being on the winning team, plus a bonus.

The incentive is that you get an actual challenge and are able to improve your skills, not just zerg around and faceroll over your keyboard.

If you auto balance over to the outnumbered team, you automatically get credit for a win, plus you get bonus Pvp XP.

So, there’s not zero incentive.

Why not simply forbid to join the winners ?! I don’t get why hotjoin should be crap just so some guys can grind their dailies.

Maybe if people actually read the prompt they would know that you get the win bonus at the end if you volunteer, regardless of results. As in, if you volunteer, get moved, and your team loses, you still get the rank points you would get if you didn’t switch and won + a bonus.

Hot join is cancer. Friends don’t let friends get cancer
