Ok everyone, thanks for the adds and making this grow strong. For the Us server tOss can handle the Tourney details as he’s the OP. Unless tOss can run Eu as well we’ll need someone to step up in the Eu servers to organize and help run things from over there because GW2 atm does not allow for Cross region Pvp yet. Keep in mind that embershard and I are managing US. Eu needs a tourney manager. If US duelists are monitoring this thread, please let me know the best time for a tournament for you.

I would love to be apart of this. Also have you considered making a guild for it so that way when players come online we can see other duelists who would like to have a go at each other? I get on at random times depending on my week (between work and school) so I think having a guild could be helpful to talk to fellow duelists and help build a community around the 1v1 duelists.

Its np, Im looking forward to getting this started soon. We have more than enough on the Us side to start a decent size tourney. Everyone please add me ingame if you havent already. I am on Spvp alot This tourney is for all of you, so feel free to throw me us ideas on what you all would like to see. 1v1 is a definate but with the amount of people we are getting we can also form 2v2 and 3v3 fights. Even get 5 man teams together to log in Tpvp for some fights. I’ve got a bunch of stuff sitting in my stash im just collecting, so i might throw something down as a 1st/2nd/3rd place prize for our first tourney just to help bring people in and get it formed and running Ill look at what I have and make a tentative list

Ive decided instead of items, I’ll set a 1st-3rd money value to be won, this way even if the winner only pvp’s than he/she will still get something useful out of it.

As a note, I believe I’ll be traveling for work next week and will therefore be unable to participate in any tourney matches then. The bane of my unpredictable schedule.

Perhaps for the US I could be included as an alternate, and if anyone ever sees me on and wants to do, know I’m a willing body to practice.

Always down to do some 1-1s when I’m around. Nero Vitus (US). Randomish play times but if I am on it’s probably a weekday evening.

Its understandable that people have random schedules. As being military, I suffer from randomly getting called back into Company, Field time and all the craziness inbetween. I want as many people to participate as possible, tOss is looking into times which can benefit the majority so hopefully we can work something out If one tourney is out of your scope, the next one will deffinately be geared towards including those that had to miss out.

I don’t think we should post classes. You should be prepared for everything.

Its not a secret what profession you are. Your gonna find out and starting matches are random Im assuming. Some are using the list for random duels outside of the tourney. It just makes it easier to see whos online and class you want to duel.

Besides everyone in the list can be a thief for all we know lol prety lame if tourney consistes of 90% of one class. (I know not everyone is. Just a sugestion)

Easy win if they are all thieves. I’d be pretty happy. I just know there will be a condition mesmer *tear

Thieves are a pretty easy catch for bunker speccs (Guard and eles) and mesmers. Also a good warrior can win against thieves.

Hope so, it’s been hard to find skilled players.

Easy win yes. Boring yes. Dont want to go against same class 4 outa 5 times.
This should bring some skilled players make it interesting tho.

Is there going to be a losers bracket or something? I would love to try a secondary build. Maybe the best way would be to just 1 on 1 outside of the tourny.

Im going to try to drop some info down later today. Im pretty busy at work right now and its taking me forever just to type this out. I deff dont want just one match. I think best 2 out of 3 would be good with determining who would win. Input?

Might want to think about using no healing skills if they fight goes on too long for some fights. Hurtappl and I can’t kill one another unless we cant use skill 6 + no elites. We still used regeneration from various other things though.
