sPvP Level 16 and always assigned to weak teams now
Actually its more likely that due to the large number of people leaving losing teams constantly, you have a higher chance of being put into the losing team to balance out the numbers.
I’ve been in several matches where people were leaving the losing team one by one, leaving only 3 people playing versus 8 as people join and leave again and again.
When you look at the scores and see a lot of people with 0 points, chances are you’re experiencing the same thing.

Interesting thought. Maybe so.
I am also disappointed that taking objectives doesn;t win you as many points as running with a zerg does. They award too many points for “fighting on the roads” in sPvP.
Yeah, I never hit the “play now” button anymore. I look for servers only missing one player, and not on Capricorn. Using that criteria I rarely end up in games that are getting farmed. You’ll find the servers with farmed up teams and lopsided point totals/skill levels are missing several players as more than 1 or 2 will leave to find a more even match usually.
And I agree that kills and fighting with the zerg awards you far too much. If anything, just straight getting kills should be nearly meaningless if it is on a node, or within some radius of a node. If I manage to get 4 people to chase me into the farthest location from our nodes before they finally down me, their reward for doing so should be almost nothing….because frankly, that’s a stupid thing to reward in the first place.
There is no such thing as a weak team inmo, There might be a few matches where a team gets rolled over like a rock but those games inmo are far from many.
From Personal Experience speaking, I know how its like to get into a PVP game and the team youre on does not know what they are doing and basically just get down to the killing, throwing strategy out the window. BUT, if youre a solid player, little by little, with more people joining youre team you should be able to make a difference and fight back, Cuz thats what its all about, fighting back even if youre the only sane one on youre team.
Ex. My and my buddy played a couple of games yesterday and got assigned to the team with fewer members and the people on there were not working well together and were just accepting their fate of losing but me and my Buddy both got around 190 points in our team and the 3rd person on our team had like 100. We lost that game but we fought back and made a difference, even if youre alone, you can make a huge difference if your atleast half decent enough to know how to mix utility skills and traits, also how you move is lethal.Staying in a group as well.
What Im trying to say is that, There is not much you can do unless you have a couple of people that actually know how to teamwork and play, newb players vs a larger amount of players, Larger amount always wins. BUT A few skilled players w/4 newbs vs large group of players. A few Skilled players might be able to push enough to make it fair for others.

I am rank 25 and i dont’t get assigned to weak teams all the time. The main problem imo is that leavers starts leaving as soons as the score diff between teams is above 100. Plp just don’t realize that groups are remixed every single round and that switching to a new server wont help it. Tbh I’m more worried to the number of speedhackers around lately.
Yeah, you have to have at least ONE reasonably good player to work with to make much of a difference. Running by yourself you are too easy to catch by the zerg or even a pair from the stronger team. And in this game, the characters are so closely balanced that if the other two jumping on you are even average skill, you cannot win.
That’s a good thing. It means we are balanced.
The only other time you can win 2v1 is when your class is the natural counter to the other two. Then you have a chance.
