sPvP and Living Story --> Swap Build Cycles
Aint gonna happen bro. PvP does not generate money. PvE and gem store does.

but that doesnt come out of the dark. without improvements pvp will never generate money. so thats a bad argumentation, unless anet starts a kickstarter project for pvp.
Do you think it’s a good idea?
or could just make mix of it: new content every month and pvp update every month….
mind blown!!!

The reason why the PvP updates are rather far between is because it takes time to balance things and time for the new changes to settle with the player and the community….
However, a bigger PvP team would be great… Ridiculous that we only have ONE game mode a year after release! Which is awful for me since I do not care enough for a game mode that is so heavily build around positioning your team around a map, rather than actually prove your PvP skills and kill people, fair and square. (And a fairly unrewarding reward-system, but I guess that’s quite subjective)

Gw2 is a masterpiece at it’s foundation. Content-wise however…

I don’t believe this is the only reason. The developers posted weeks ago they know Warriors are overpowered. However, no fixes have been realized on live servers to date. Prior to their big tournament at PAX, they pushed a hotfix to Dhuumfire.
The examples provided indicate the developers are aware of the imbalances in the game and are fully capable of making smaller adjustments in a more timely fashion than what they do currently.

Good point!
It feels like the developers simply doesn’t have enough manpower to get things done reasonably quickly… But it also feels like they should get certain things fixed a lot, lot faster. (From the top of my head: the bloody gold reward from dungeons. Took ’em long enough, huh? In addition, what is up with that? Same reward in gold for doing AC as Arah p3? Insane?)
