this game is becoming dps war 2 …. do you agree with sinister stat in pvp ( from hot release ) ? will it become too damage oriented ? Till now you had to chose between dps or condi damage but with sinister you will have both of them in a single hand. I think for example at a sinister necro ….

Sinister necro? Are you for real? Dire and rabid are far more superior choices since scepter is a poor power weapon.

Dire is not available and will not be available after release.

if not sinister necro sinister engi or sinister mesmer … class that can outplace damages and conditions togegher…

It will not be a very popular amulet. Same reason that berserker is not very popular.

Likely true, it’ll turn into a troll amulet or something, but the builds that come from it will be annoying

It has no defense.. they will drop like flies.. people will stick with bunker/condi amulets

if it comes out as 4-stat (with vit or maybe toughness) it will be a good amulet. If its like pve sinister (cd/pow/pre) its going to be useless.

I think it would be great for build diversity to have a strong condition/power hybrid amulet so im hoping its a 4-stat version.

If its named “sinister” it won’t me more than 3 stats.

If it’s like the current sinister stat setup, then it will be a 3 stat. If it was a 4 stat with vitality or toughness then it would too good. Sinister Reaper is pretty good and so would torment shatter mesmers to name a couple. Thing is sin works better in wvw as builds can be built to boost up their defensive stats such as vit and toughness to compensate through other means ( i.e. foods, armor, etc. )
