I don’t know how this got missed over 4 years, but skill cooldowns are not being reset when you enter an spvp match.

Now imagine you want to change a long cd elite before match starts but you can’t….or you can but 9 other ppl have wait 1 minute for you to get it off cd.

Clearly that’s not how it should be. Hope a-net will address it soon.

This is done so you can’t enter and exit pvp with your skills CD reset. Players could use this to test a skill at x speed I’m not quite sure why they care but I assume reduction of enter/exit skill spammers is why.

I’m more concerned about mesmer portals occasionally not disappearing between the pre-game freeroam and the start of the match.

Nothing quite like the entire [friendly/enemy] team being on mid the second the gate opens and getting a ~20 point head start.
no it does not happen every match, I play a mes and can’t consistently re-create this, it seems to be quite random
