solo q leaderboard intention?

“Tranquility has a beard.”
I’ve been playing the yoloq for a while now and i have to say i think you are mistaken.
Yes it is annoying when you randomly get 4v5 and you have some people who dont contribute but i can say for certain that if you are a good player you will win more than you lose. Currently the games i play are very close (sometimes a stomp if 4v5) and i know that if i didn’t pull my weight, win the 1v1 etc, i would have lost that game.
What i think would make a difference though is if you could see how much ‘rating’ you won or lost. Cause if you were unlucky and were paired with poor quality players against better ones you should have lost less points.
Regardless i’m enjoying the experience so far as its nice to be playing with people who are gw2 famous such as streamers and people from pro teams. I hope you stay with it and slowly grind your way out of the elo hell and you’ll find that the games are very intense and entertaining.

negga.6958,
Yes, that’s because you are at position 220 out of 3700 people on the leaderboard at the moment.
When you are in the top 1000, you tend to get more serious players.
The people who jump in now start lower… and have to play with people who do not take the match seriously. Some talking, dancing, joking, leaving.
I have one account where I started at the beginning, and I am at 720. I get good matches.
On the other account… I recently started playing the same build there, and I was placed with people who did not participate, joked around wisecracking sometimes, and lost games, and my character there is very deep in the percentages. But I am the same player.

You are not supposed to win each game. If matchmaking worked the way it was intented, the best players would have around 70% wins. Really good players would have around 60%. And others would be around 45-55%
I played 11 matches over the course of a week or so.
Not a single one has within 300 points of each other. It was 500-200 every time or worse.
The one I lost was just the same.
ranked 8th and I got to say most of yolo q is luck. 11 matches of 300 point differences says something.
Crysis, Lil Damage, Ovi, Jindavikk, Guard
Causing cancer all day.
They should balance the freaking game before SoloQ leaderboards mean anything at all.
patience is a virtue
Like 6 months is not enough to solve a matchup issue.
I would wait 5 more minutes to have no rabbit guys mixed with r40-50 teams.
Fear The Crazy [Huns]
That is why I’m thinking of going to EU. Higher population means the matchmaking (hopefully) is far more even.

Its even, but its still filled with cheese build like spirit rangers and necromancer. The state of the game is sad right now.
For solo queue leader-boards and rating to matter, the decay has to be accelerated. Solo queue decay rate should be a lot higher than team queue to begin with and even team queue rating decay is far from fine, because it only seems to affect your current rating rather than both your current rating and the deviation.
You can influence (read: carry) the match much more then you think. If you consistently win 1v1’s, hold out in 1v2’s, stealth backcap then come back to the mid fight to win it, steal a boss, ect ect. Then you deserve to be higher on the ladder to prove that you are worth your weight on a team. Even if all you do is team fight if you are getting clutch rezes/stomps, focusing targets and winning the battle then you deserve to be higher.
