it think with the actual change to conditions.. the best solution would be to change the amulets.. they are already different then to normal pve or wvw.

my suggestions are the following:
rabid: 569 prec, 569 toughness, 798 conditon -> 569 prec, 798 toughness, 295 conditon
shaman: 798 toughness, 569 condition, 569 healing power -> 798 toughness, 295 conditon and 569 healing power

so now i say why i think it would be the best solution
with berserker or carrion amulett we would has 2 possible ways to do spikedmg. 1 with physical and 1 with conditions. carrion would do a lesser amount but stronger conditions than rabid.. with rabid and the on crit via trait and sigill we would has the pressureaspect like soldier with the needed toughness. it would do a larger amount of condition but not as strong as before. shaman and cleric are the ones for bunker. so both can choose what type of dmg they want to do but it would be nearly equal.

tl;dr
spike dmg: berserker
spike condition dmg: carrion
pressure dmg: soldier, knight
pressure with condition: rabid
bunker with dmg: cleric
bunker with condition: shaman

with carrion as condition spike we would had a possibility to counter the spike with conditioncleaning. with rabid the conditioncleaning would be less usefull trough the amount of application but it would be not as strong as before and had more a pressure aspect.

Once again, conditions, as a concept, are fine. Stop messing with it.
Also, zerker already gets the most stats, next to celestial. Stop making it better than anything else.

anet has made conditions better without adjusting the rest. more conditions and stronger conditions. so what u want conditions to be critical like suggestet from other person?

my suggestion would nothing change except that necros with rabid could apply the same amount of conditions but it would take longer to kill something.. if the want the same time to kill something they must use carrion and would loose the high toughness what the actual meta makes so bad..

problem is not only condition. problem is condition+prec+toughness. so fixing it direct would solve all the problems and not messing with skills. dont know why u cant see it.

Im with fenrir here. A stat that would reduce damage received from conditions would go a long way. My idea is a major GM trait would be one that reads x% less damage from conditions under x situation.

The general idea is the more conditions you have on you the less damage you take from them. This is the inverse from classes that get a damage bonus for more conditions on a target and more boons on themselves.
Classes that would do well to get a trait like this are ones that are already somewhat weak to condis
Warriors/mesmers
Engineers I’d say mayyybeeee but they have AR right now which is pretty sweet as it is.

Or runes like runes of melandru but more of them and more -% duration to be sure.
