to be fair they cant realy change balance during an ongoing tournament(tournament of legends) if they dont want to risk a massive kittenstorm (QQ my class got nerfed/enemies class got buffed, if i had been in the first qualifier i would have easily won but no way like this, thanks anet)

They dont even need to balance in the time of this tol but i would like too see sth like new modes or rewards

I’d rather they use the whole ToL process to really evaluate where balance is right now and make a large patch after it is finished.

Yeah, I was soo expecting New-Mega-Esport-Patch and we got more fixes to skill descriptions again.

It seems like a-net is more afraid of balancing the game than they are of the rabid playerbase begging them to balance the game…

If you honestly believe PvP is more than just a blip on their dev radar, you must be delusional..

Literally, pvp is the last focus on anet… LS, Gemstore, PvE and WvW are all >>>>> than anything pvp related to anet, hence you will not see too many updates regarding PvP…

Ehhh…. the balance is in a decent sport right now. All the professions sort of have their own niche with the exceptions being ranger and arguably mesmer. What most people seem to be upset over are the sigil and rune power, which don’t really affect any one profession or group of professions specifically.

They Nerfed the bird

I can’t see them balancing until after ToL/Gamescom. Which is fine imo, the game is a bit more balanced now than it ever has been. At least we are now seeing all 8 professions in play and not just 5 or 6.

The release notes haven’t been updated yet, but the health of the Tropical Parrot was reduced by 50% in today’s release to bring it in line with other summons such as the rock dog.

We’ll keep an eye on it for now and reevaluate it’s strength it in the future if need be.

Ya i’m pretty happy with the balance atm, just a couple things could use small tweaks atm.

They are not going to release any major balance changes anytime soon. That was clear for the last patch, this patch, and for the next several. Honestly, I would not expect a balance patch until late 2014.

You guys complain too much. It took someone a good hour to add in those tool tips.

It does seem weird to me that they would hold off on any balancing simply due to a tournament that only affects a few people. Does that mean they are only concerned about balance with respect to only a very few?

Its been only 7 months since they talked about new game modes. give it time.

Tourneys are just an excuse for them to do nothing. The bottom line is that the balance maybe twice a year, at best.

Look at the bigger picture: it’s not about us, it’s about our children being able to play decent pvp.
