2 things :
1) the most important thing to buff esport is …..money
maybe u give like 1000 $ for reward on one of tournaments every month for 1st place
and like 10000$ twice a year?
i dont know how muh can u spend for it (1000 $ and 10000 is good for begining imo )
but i think that it would be very good for begining ,if u buff the comunity ,maybe later
there would be some sponsors with more money
if gw2 would become real e sport , it would become famous…..free advertsement for Anet
2)start rated arenas 2v2,3v3,5v5,8v8 ,and create maps for it
it is not that easy to get a team with 5 people ,it is easier to get 2 or 3 players together
arenas 5v5 ,and 8v8 would some good add for the game

Let’s wait and see how the ESL tournament looks like.

Is it me or did the ESL tournament just go over everyone’s heads and backsides? It seemed very under promoted.It was streamed in 360p. that is just inexcusable these days.

The exclamation on Reddit was Guild wars twos lack of viewership meant that they could only opt for 360 quality video from the ESL website. But heck, I think if arena net was more diligent, the could have even subsidized their stream for 720 P by paying ESL some money.

I don’t know where you get your info from, but on Blu’s channel stream was avaliable in both 720p+ and 360p for those with worse connections.

The 720 was choppy as hell for a lot of people, myself included.
The 360 was like wearing wrong prescription glasses.

3)create ingame Looking for Team for tourney tool
tool with a lot filters like rank ,tornaments played ,profession ,games played with profession ………..

dont know how it should be made exactly to work in reality ,but i thing it is not that hard to create it
if u give more chances for new players to play tourneys with proper players in team ,u will getmore good and pro players , more teams finally , bigger spvp comunity
4) something worth to buy with glory …..
i got over 1 milion glory , and dont have anything to spend it for ,dont want to buy 1000 chests it is pointless for me

Not worth to force E-Sport, if the game overall is in a bad state.

1. Real Infrastructure
2. Incentive to play
3. Rewards according to skill/success
4. healthy/stabile competition
5. Bigger Tournaments
6. Tournaments with price pools worth it
7. Promotion / Marketing for E-Sports
8. E-Sport

not to late for all changes ……..
and for example if u put 10000$ every month and 100000$ once a year in tournaments
on a game like (for example) Civisation 2 (game from early 90s i think) people will start playing it again professional , and even it has very low grafic people will watch , becouse
money will make it exciting….

i think this game is bettter to watch than other famous e sport games (it is my opinon of course) it has high potential ,just needs some work …….

and yes marketing /promotion is very important too

i don’t understand why people from anet dont want to push this game to e sport ,it doesnt require much ,and it would be great addvertisment for them ,for almost free…
