Are we aloud to summon minions as a necromancer before we battle then change our utility skills and keep the minions out for extra damage? or is it just bad design?

This is totally ok – i dont see that anything should be wrong doing that. Many classes change weapons out of fight to gain a boon (for example: swiftness) and switch back to regular weapons later.

This isn’t a real thing is it? it shouldn’t be possible to swap out the minions skills but keep the minions… I don’t play necro but that seems like it would be too large an oversight if it were true..

agree. you shoul have minions only when you have minion skill equipped.

it isnt true but you can get some life froce if you do it with felsh golem. dont know if thats intended

well if you do it they just stand there for some time with zero health but they wont do anything

I hadn’t tried it, but I thought necro minions despawned if you swapped out the skill that summoned them.

minions vanish now, I thought necros had an edge over pents and elementals
