Guild Wars 2

I tried like every build and armor combination possible,

just end up dying like a fly and they cry in every corner thief OP here thief OP there, thief OP everywhere,…

i just CANT play tpvp X_X i tried it over 30 times, and the team i was in, won like only 3 times at all O_o

help me, i dont know, this game is just kitty-cat hard for me,

in tpvp everything goes like in a blink of a second, everyone play burst damage and i have no fkn clue what im doing or what is actually happening and its not lacking of practice.. in wvw im more than pro, i can use the environement there, the huge space, to dodge, hide.. everything ya know…

but here 1/4 strategy,
rush to tower and everyone smashes the hell out of the circle, 3 seconds a fight, dead, dead, DEAD, DEAD. DEAD!!!!!

dont know if its only my fault but my team loose like ALLWAYS, its frustrating i dont know what to do.

maybe its just me, but i find its impossible for human reaction to keep up, i dont know how everyone else do this, there are like a ton AOEs in a small space, everyone spamming something around you,

to defend something bymyself, tried traps, tried condition damage build, tried critical backstab build, just end up dead in less then 3 seconds -_-

its like a complete another world, why the heck am i loosing against EVERYTHING when in wvw i dont have any problems at all -_-

yea right the theory is easy: steal -> stealth -> activate sigils -> backstab -> haste -> switch to pistol whip DONE

it just never work out ^^’,

- its hard to get in melee range
- its hard to get out of stun / chill
- hard to get behind your enemy while 2 others are bashing a huge aoe area around and everything just fkn explodes around you
- and the worst is the timing

i dont know what the problem is and i just can say i dont feel anything OP as thief at all -__-

I would have to admit it might be slightly harder to be a thief in tPvP than in 8v8s, but you really need to play smart. You say you keep getting owned by AoEs but if you choose to stand in them you will pay the price. Instead stay at range with shortbow and spam your own aoe until you get a chance to jump someone who is low or squishy.
