test servers and ptr releases
…shouldn’t be hard technically. …
so u know the actual server implementation and has revisited the gamecode and know possible solutions how to implement in tune with possible future design to come to that conclusion?
PTR is absolutely essential for any serious pvp game. lack of it is the reason this game is in shambles.

do you think i would ever post on video game forum without al least having done all of above prep work?
So this thread has been made a few dozen times, usually about once every couple weeks. The devs come in to a few of them and remind everyone that it’s difficult/costly to do that with the way things are set up.
Maybe they should have waited another 6 months to release, maybe they should have launched with only 6 professions but more PvP content, maybe they should have…(fill in the blank). None of that is really relevant now.

i dont believe u are a programmer or have glue of programming and the sourcecode of gw2-server and client and know the future design plans of arena-net that would fit into your implementation. if so, that would mean u are a anet-dev.. so go and do your work!

lol, if this was a topic about our individual characters, I could say that you lack social skills to carry (or even observe) conversation and by looks of it, at any topic. where any idea is torpedoed under requirement of extreme competence. but i wont say that, as i wont say that you have no clue about my competence in programming. in fact i dont see any need to add anything to what i have already said.

u can have all competence in programming as u want. but u cant judge how hard its to implement something if u dont has insight of the sourcecode.. and i dont believe anet has send them to u.. that what i saying the whole time.
and to be honest if u cant see the AND’s in my post and build a boolean logic u lack any skill needed to programming any.
To stay on topic before the thread gets completely derailed, none of us know much about programming or Anet’s source code for the game engine, but it’s still important to keep this topic fresh even though it has been brought up time and again. Much like the game type and rewards discussions, if it’s brought up enough times, the devs would take it more seriously. Personal attacks on character are best left to PMs.
The lack of a ptr has really hurt the implementation of balance patches in this game and if Anet (not necessarily the devs) would just be more open about the development of this game, we wouldn’t have all these problems. And if we still had these problems, at the very least we would know what is actually being worked on from a player’s perspective.
I am no programmer and I’m sure it’s easy to say what can and can’t be done in the forums, but I’m positive that whatever changes are made or are being made is not easy (especially for such a skeleton crew of pvp developers and programmers). Still, better communication on upcoming changes or some effort into creating a ptr would benefit the game and it’s community a lot.

you are right. but he has mentioned “it can be that hard” what i was attacking. without insight its just a failed statement.
