theif untargetable while he deals killing blow
This is how the game is played and is completely normal. You will be seeing more of it. You should learn to do it as well.
Stealthing for killing blow is part of the strategy/utilization of the thief’s skills. Now as to the class having blatantly unbalanced skills like Heartseeker, that is another question =) Also , thief attacking for 1-3 seconds while still in stealth before their target actually sees them, that is something to be concerned about.

Are you saying, the solution to counter OP classes, is to play that OP class?

indeed lol…atm thiefs are, what? 30-40% of any given battleground?
if we let things carry on as they are now, in less than a month they will be 80%

You can be smart, if you see some red numbers, roll away…or CC or dont just stand there waiting for the thief to show up. If you swing your weapon it will hit him even if you dont have him targeted so ADAPT if you want a game where you know the rules then change games, dont make them change this game….
Don’t you just love how people explain everything but when you think juuuuust a little bit you will notice: Wait! sPVP is a team vs team, there are no 1v1s.
If the thief is on cloak, tag the next target and hope not to die. That’s the “tactic” of spvp. Pray to survive until your whole team come and help you.

Not really. I mean sure, in general if a class seems good, then play it. But I just meant the specific theme of some kind of invulnerability when going for the stomp is exactly what you’re supposed to do. Stealth, Stability, Block, Blind, Quickness, whatever. Everyone cries about downed state having a cc ability that interrupts you — plan for it.
HOw are you supposed to plan your ‘interrupt, KD, KB, if you can’t see the person? Sorry, I think everyone and everything should be visible if they are trying to stomp you. Stealthing before a stomp is highly overpowered.
If the thief is half a breath from dying himself, I want to down him as well, and I can’t. This is BS
If the thief pops his stealth to finish you, he pays the price of its CD and not using it during his fight with you. If some class has specifically slotted a utility skill for stomping, they pay the price of not having another skill that may help them more in fights. In other words the situation was to their disadvantage during fights and their advantage is during the stomp. They were probably the better player. Just accept it and move on.

How do you interrupt someone that used Stability before the stomp? You cannot either. Thief got absolutely no Stability buffs except on the dagger tornado elite and you cannot stomp or rez anyone in that state.

Really now, no 1v1 in sPvP? You one of those that always run in a group of 5 from point to point?
