All they need to send you mail on the forums is your account name. If they can send you mail in game they can send it to you in the forums. They can get your account name just by adding you as a friend. Everything is probably fine.

I cannot remember, but when you create an account don’t you need a copy of the game? and if so, wouldn’t that mean they have access to some accounts (IE stolen or some exploit to make them for free)
