i have seen some crazy stuff but even this is a first out of 2k+ matches. me and a guard was fighting in mid we downed each other right out side of point. his team mate walks right passed us i was like ah crap i am dead but nope he just stands there the guard starts yelling at him res me or stomp him.keep in mind the necro is right next to us and the point is already capped. the necro doesn’t do anything and my pet healed me and i finished guard off. i felt bad for the guard differently goes in my top five list of weird things i have seen. what are some of the crazy or weird things you have seen in pvp

Recently, I was attempting to cap an empty far when 3 of them show up after defeating my team at Mid. They down me then all take off at once leaving me on the spot to rally and cap the point.

Strangest thing I ever saw.

I have several very similar experiences just from the last day..

The last one I had was me coming back to help out a teammate on home. He’s in a 1v2 and already downed. I rush in, down one of the enemies. Stealth and rez up my buddy. Then I down the second player, but in the meantime the downed player and his friend have been attacking me, so I get downed. My teammate that I just got up decides he should just walk away to mid. Leaving me losing the point to two downed opponents..

Just had necro that died to cheftain in sapphire.

I won a match with 3 thieves on my team. Thief is back motherkitteners

Had a fun moment last night. Was a close game and we were about to lose, was like 490something to our 480something.

Battle for mid is going on, and its contested, at this point we have one node (in the process of being decapped) and the enemy has a node. We should definitely be losing this. We also generally were losing most teamfights.

I’m playing bunker ele, healing our condi warrior who is fighting 1vmultiple behind me. I heal him up, and get focused so I retreat back to the point to try to at least get the cap before match ends. As I’m standing there capping, I see one of the guys the warrior is fighting run over and drop downed at my feet. Literally at my feet. Ok fine. Warrior is still fighting 1vsomething behind me, so I go for the stomp (no stab or invulns up either ).

Get interrupted during the stomp, get back up, start stomping again, and suddenly a wild like 2% health thief appears trying to res the downed player. Switch to water and drop a comet on his head, which also puts him in the downed state in front of me.

Warrior behind me seems to win his 1v1 (no idea where the thief came from) and stomps the guy and I’m left with two downed players who literally dropped dead at my feet. Get both stomps off and win the game.

Was surreal. I’m like “Uhh… thanks?” :P

This kind of things happened to me multiple times in 2nd season of ranked arenas, when I was running scrapper with sneak gyro. Some people simply don’t bother with stomping, prefering to walk away like a bauss.

I remember mesmers, who moa’d me just to focus fire on my full health teammate.
I remember awesome downstate fights on points.
I also remember thieves, committing suicide over & over, going like 1 vs. 3 or 4.
