the pvp reward tracks earned by beta characters cannot be saved.

this is ridiculous.

pvp is of course different than pve.

strangely, we are earning pve rewards in pvp …

yes, the character may be beta, but the sPvP hojoin games that i joined is not beta.

why can’t they just let our existing non beta characters to beta test the elite specs?

This post makes no sense, Anet has clearly stated that anything won through beta tests will not be saved to your normal account, and it has been like this all previous betas…

if this is the case, then beta characters should not earn coin from sPvP or progress reward tracks.

coin from sPvP and reward tracks are not part of the beta test.

My only problem is that they always activate the PvP boost for the beta weekends, so i either earn rewards or play the beta, can’t do both.. :/

PvP rewards are annoying, I have to click on all those blinking chests that drive me crazy, then I feel like I have to open them all, to receive other chests or bags that contains items to salvage into components that you have to: sell to NPC, sell on TP, store in bank. What a chore!

I, for one, am glad I don’t have to tidy up and make room in my bags for a week-end.

The beta is for more than just the new pve maps, its about class(and elite) balance for both pve, and spvp

So using your beta char in spvp is beta testing the balances . . . which makes it beta

the coin that my beta character uses to buy crafting materials is not beta content, but the bought crafting materials using non beta content coin becomes beta content? ridiculous.

Edit: also it doesnt really consume your dailies to do it on a beta character. you cna turn around and do it on your primary characters immediately after on the beta character. the reason they left it all in is to probably make it less jarring for people to play said characters.

heheheh confusion cleared no worries.
well, the loading pages should have more information though.

because the copy of the bank, wallet was done so well, it did not occur to me that it was a beta copy, and not the actual bank wallet.

for example, even a simple “your wallet and bank items in your beta character is a copy of your actual wallet and bank items” etc something like that.
