many stupid2 ppl only gamble to win not work
this repeat every day ~_~
realy annoying
please do something
english your bad dont I understand
My guess would be he/she is complaining that people are giving earning their PvP dailies priority over smart team play.
english your bad dont I understand
r u means “your english is bad, i am not understand” ?
i have noticed more people in tPvP multi-capping a point in some PUGs, etc. stuff like that?
well, changing daily won’t change people! Even before TPvP was not part of daily , there were ppl who multi-cap points, rush’d solo svanir and dyed and much other hot join stupit stuff. I will say problem is in hot join, because you are allowed to do there this kind of things or in tutorial (ye,right…there was a great tutorial in pvp) where it should be explain’d that multi-cap ,won’t cap point faster.

Nailed it!
Agreed. Elitist organized teams have it even easier now, farming all the newbies who will spend hours and hours to get their daily. This is exactly why GW1 PvP died.

If newbies will spend many hours in tpvp, there is a possobility that they will learn something and that a good thing.
I don’t think that in [ele/mesmer/thief] arena, that is call’d hot join ,they will learn something at all. So let noobs play and learn, there is no harm.
But you know. . . there is stilla PvE-Daily
There’s a certain (big) part of GW2 community that goes after achievement points. And to do those they’ll have to get all the PvP dailies. There’s no chance of them ever staying in PvP, they’ll get their dailies and they’re out. However, problem is that it will take them hours and hours, and they will change the experience of other players in a very bad way whether you’re with them or against them. Playing against newbies is definitely boring, and playing with them is annoying and frustrating (from a standard PvP player perspective). And poor matchmaking system will quite often put elitist teams in match against total newbies (daily farmers).
Same happened with GW1, elitism and similar system to this where super organized teams would face newbies killed PvP.
Also, I’m not whining here, because I was one of those elitists, but I’m just trying to put things into neutral perspective here.
Solutions:
1. Make PvP daily X amount of wins only and nothing else:
– This will motivate all those newbies to actually try hard to win, and their only objective will be victory, and who knows, one day they might even learn to play.
2. Improve the leaderboard system to discourage elitism:
– This would be a simple fix. Make the premade groups lose a lot more rating if they lose a match vs pugs. Also make them gain almost no rating if they win against pugs. More organized the team is, the less they should gain and more they should lose. This would make the leaderboard more dynamic and would motivate more people to play, without needed to add a special solo queue leaderboard that would never work.
You’re welcome.
