twice DC and penalty ? unfair PvP
Normal players don’t disconnect constantly, leaving the rest of their team to lose a 4v5. If your Internet is so unstable that you can’t finish a game without disconnecting, you have no business playing ranked PvP.
My internet is stable a loot of – but I do not understand the system which gives me penalty for disconnect and second penalty is lost point – this is not fair.
If you disconnect enough to get dishonor, your Internet is not stable enough for PvP.
You’re here complaining about this system being “unfair”. You know what’s actually unfair? You robbing 9 other people of a good match by disconnecting all the time. The system is appropriately preventing you from playing because you are being unfair to 9 other people.
Fix your Internet, then PvP. This is an online game, you have no grounds claiming that you should be able to play when your Internet is that bad. If you can’t fix it, tough. The game won’t let you keep ruining the experience for 9 other people every time you queue a match.
Omg – you are talking about internet, but see others topic – Iam not alone with this problem. Game crashing – but no due to internet.
Still your problem. Normal people don’t crash all the time, that’s not a common issue. If you need help fixing the crashing, I recommend submitting a ticket to support, or opening a topic in the bugs forum.
Ultimately, this is an issue on your end. It’s not Anet’s fault that your system is making the game crash all the time. The issue is that by trying to play PvP when you have a crashing problem, you are ruining the experience for 9 other players every time you crash. The way forward is the same: fix your problems, then play PvP.
You can always save your time and not play Ranked PvP. You’re right, it is stupid. It means nothing, has no proper balance team, and offers zero incentive to play the same exact leagues for the 4th time.

Welcome to broken Ranked PvP. Instead of fixing it, Anet will stand idly by creating gem store items rather than focusing on their content. Get used to it, it will never change.
The game cannot differentiate between a game crash and someone simulating a crash to get out of a matchup.
i am with the rest on this issue, if your internet is not stable enough to play a full match with repeated disconnections you should not play ranked spvp especially in league season.
I would also like to add that its not anets responsibility it ensure you have a stable internet connection and any punishment they see fit for making unbalanced matchmaking due to this is only by your own doing and you should understand and move on from this. if the game continues to crash i would advice doing a client repair

Check the bug reports section. People crashing left and right repeatedly (and repeatably), unable to log back in, etc.
The game client is currently broken as hell. Some maps are broken as hell. Game client repair utility isn’t working.
I myself went through a span where every single time a pvp match started I would CTD as soon as the gates opened (fortunately with kitten and decent internet I was back in the game in less than 30 seconds and never got penalized for it), and several times I’ve had the random “queue abandoned, 1 minute dishonor” bug while waiting for queue for no reason.

There’s 1 single thread about random crashing on the front page of the bug reports section, with 0 replies. The game client isn’t broken, some people just have garbage computers.
I’ve been playing since launch and haven’t had a single complaint about the game client. If you’re having issues with it, it’s either your computer or a bad install.

My client does kick me out to the character select screen sometimes, usually at the end of a match though. It may be related to some sort of connection timeout so could still be related to a users Internet.

But I do think the current Dishonour system predominantly punishes users with intermittent Internet, not afkers.
Although I don’t think it’s ideal gaming with dodgy Internet, a system built to discourage it through enforced time-out doesn’t seem particularly constructive.
People have to work with what they’ve got.. A simple match loss with a softening of MMR at game-end to minimise rating fluctuations would suffice IMO.
