That’s right.
Ask Grouch for numbers on EU final across all streams.
because gratitude is a burden and revenge a pleasure.”
It was 5K for EU across all streams.
Bring back: ‘Gamer’ title + MAT’s!
Throw out: Hotjoin!
conclusion: this is a PvE game no one cares about PvP anymore :/
Correction: No one cares about NA PvP.
Teldo’s 2v1 in the finals had more views that NA PvP.
[Eon] – Blackgate
I’d say it’s more of a no one cares about NA PvP yet. Progress is finally being made on features that will support gw2 as an esport. So many people were excited about gw2 pvp at launch; they’ll return when (and if) the tools/features are added that should have been there from day 1.
NA PvP is the same time as DotA 2 TI3 tournament which is the biggest eSport tournament ever made (at leasts in term of monetary reward). There was no way the audience wouldn’t see a huge fall between last week EU (which was free of such interference) and this week NA.

Well the EU qaulifiers had like 5k viewers across each stream… so I guess it’s more like “no one cares about the NA PvP scene in its current state”.
Now let’s try and pretend that your comparison actually means anything to begin with. You have to remember that the one stream was a sneak-preview for new content whereas the other was just the same old gameplay… it really goes without saying which one is going to have higher viewership.
1k8 for day 1 of tournament and 1k7 during the finals, started out as 900 viewers at start of day2.
On day 1 I noticed other people spamming in game about it, I guess from upset from day1, even though I liked team DUKE, not many people tuned in for day 2, even though it was better games.
I’m sure a lot of people can agree with me that solo que teams could’ve beaten most of day 1’s teams and I’ve seen better premades that play often (normally bunch of friends and not officially a team) that could woop 90% of the day 1 teams. I know I shouldn’t be hating but its the truth, and yes they should’ve signed up.
The only thing I can think of is lack of advertisement, maybe if they’d known there was such tournament going on they’d participate, but to be honest if I never came to the forums, I’d never know about this tournament.
