hey i m new to game i decided to play warrior so i wanted to see how warriors do in pvp vs who they are strong and weak and which is the best way to play him or best build i m still lvl 6 i think max i played for max 1h so i don t know much but i used to play wow so i got an idea . and if warriors are gd in pvp and if there s arena who should i have as a partner . ty

I suggest reading the forum first, then rethinking the class choice you have made – that would be the best thing about playing a warrior.

Change class buddy, don’t waste ur time for a useless class. If u want a heavy armor class go for guardian

Hiya. Ok youve picked what is considered to be a class a tad on the weak side ( in tourny pvp).

if however you like hotjoins, or do mostly hotjoins, then warriors are really good.

First thing, is you want to familirze yourself with the 100 blades spec and the job of a defensive roamer, thats for the most part the roll they play in tournies.
If your with a very organized team a CC warrior can be good.

If your doing hotjoins , they are good for smashing people.
IF your on North america, you should ask Hman for a good tourny build, hes one of the few top warriors around.

Reconsider your class. (Ex-warrior)

I main warrior and I got him somehow to 150 tourny wins, and now I’m playing ranger. My first tournament game on ranger I got to finals, run to clock and I soloed guardian + warrior.
Its like you training with 100kg extra, and switch to ranger and remove those extra kgs its how i felt honestly.
But then week after that I’m still running ranger, I get on random team 5 vs4. My team got 3 thiefs + 2 rangers. I’m thinking ok we got this in bag. And enemy warrior beat the kitten out of us. Some rank 57 dude I forgot name. Full dps warrior would not die to 3 thiefs and 2 rangers… I was confused honestly and I’m still wondering what build he was using and would love to 1v1 that guy warrior vs warrior.

ok i see now warrior are gd in pve then. so i have no future in pvp playing as a warrior ?

Just play an elementalist instead of a warrior. Trust me, you will thank me for this advice at a later date :P

Warriors are the worst sPvP class. Other than tooltip fixes, ArenaNet doesn’t seem intent on doing anything.

Ranger, Mesmer, Elementalist, Guardian… pick one.
