I quit playing this game about a week into the new season and the queue times weren’t bad, 2-3 minutes. Today I end up getting bored and logging off after 6+ minutes of queue time. I am not waiting to play this game for 6 minutes between matches.

What tier you in? Probably had something to do with that

I think it might be because of the super adventure box.

I am half way through ruby. But this is the same spot I was in when I took a break a month or so ago and the queues were only 2 minutes.

Weird…im just a bit farther and longest queues ive seen is 5 mins

I assume MMR was taking so long to guarantee you a win.

A month long break and you were in Ruby means you had a good run initially. Season 2 MMR would be trying to fast track you to diamond.

Yes, but you do realize comments like the OP’s are working against goo MM… The better the MM is working the longer the queuetimes will probably be because it will try to find you a better game… I would take longer queue vs crap blowout games any day of the week, but as long as there are ppl who just want a quick game instead of a good one anet will have to balance this, now the question is what kittenes off more players because: bad matchmaking → less people → longer queues, or longer queues → less players → even longer queues. There has to be balance but I think waiting an extra minute or two is secondary to then get a game of 500 – 17 ….
