Did you check the Suggestions and Ranger forum? Most of the time threads are moved to other forums instead of being deleted.

Oh, and they delete rage posts don’t worry. I have seen it multiple times last night.

Yeah, sometimes threads are moved for weird reasons. I remember one of my old threads. It was moved 3 times:

Ele → Suggestions → PvP → Ele

It didn’t make any sense at all but whatever.^^

well again because looks like anet dont like it

write it 3. time now, should safe such things next time

just my ideas:

generally:
-ranger have only a pet when he use the beastmastery trait line, ranger should have other f1-f4 skills.
-this f1-f4 skills are changeable like at engi when the ranger is starting to run a pet.
then there whould be nice to swap between pet controll and the f1-f4 skills

-much useless traits need a improve or remove and add new traits.
-spirits need a full redesign
-also some shouts need a full resign

start with
traits:

marksmanship:

-beastmasters might:
its only 1 might atm when u activate a sigil.
but sigil have so huge cooldown, there should be for sure more then 1 might come to the ranger then

-spotter:
this trait should for sure go to skirmishing and also give this 70 more precision the ranger also, not only team mates

-beastmasters bond:
well my idea is to choose u have a pet or not, so this trait should be go to
beastmastery and it should be 50% not 25%

-predatots instinct:
when the enemy have 25% hp it cripple him, rdy each 15secs.
sounds nice, but most time u have this on a weapon set and its to random.
maybe its more nice with less cooldown, but not sure here

-malicious bound:
its a trait should go to beastmastery

-pricise strikes at marksmanship:
well i dont like this… should be rly reworked in my mind…
into some do more dmg when u are flanking or hit from the back stuff

skirmishing:

-moment of clarity:
ok i was not understand this trait 100% untill i went to wiki…
there should be a better description, but ok not important

-trap potency:
in my mind it should be in marksmanship or wildness survive, but there i dont know whats better for the balance
but i think its not good when u have to skill a crit trait line for have trapps

-trappers expertise:

honed axes:
10% more crit dmg with axe in the main hand
i think it should be reworked, nobody have a axe in the main hand for make dps…
main hand axe is more for condition players i think

-carnivorous apetite:
should goes to the beastmastery traits
or just removed and create a skirmishing trait
(well its for my ideas be able to play without pets)

-agility training:
also a beastmastery trait

-companions might
also a beastmastery trait
should be maybe then reworked when the pet crit by himself it becomes might
dont know, but not in skirmishing for my ideas

-primal reflexes:
its ok one in the dps trait lines because ranger also need survive here.
need more like this one in the dps traits instead of the removeded traits

-trappers defense:
it puts a spike trapp when i go to rez…
this should be roworked because i dont whant put spike trapps when i start to rez…
its maybe a bit usefull because it can stop the enemys a bit but think they are close enough for the finish most time
whould be more nice to put this trait to naturemagic because its more the support trait
and rework it, maybe the ranger get staby instead of the spike trapp or he knoch back the enemys, but spike trapp is here not usefull and dont make ppls use this trait

-pets prowess:
this should be in beastmastery, alone because you whant to give the pet more less dmg! what is a big fail, but ok.. wrong topic
then put this trait to beastmastery for the beastmaster players and make it 30% more dmg not only when crit, because should be good after huge pet dmg nerf to play with the old dmg then again, because its not op
well, sounds for me good because my idea is to play with or without pets
and have only strong dmg pets when u go with 30 in beastmastery

wildnes survival:

-bark skin
well its nice skill but not so interesting because empathic bond
and it should be not activite when the hp wents to 25% i think, it whould be more usefull when hp went to 50% like the forge runes

-empathic bon:
its nice and rly important skill for ranger
it sounds only op,
what is killing a ranger is condition..
maybe whould be nice to give the ranger some condition remove skills for dont need to use this trait, because this trait line is a must have atm because this trait!

-expertise training
pet makes more condi dmg
this should go to beastmastery for the condi pets use

-soften the fall:
trait never will used by any player… should be removed or reworked
maybe it should cast moddy terrain when the ranger went to 50% life, but then its not better trait i think…
should be reworked…

-healers celerity:
well it gives swiftness when a ranger start to rez,
but why do i need swiftness when i rez and not run?!
should be quckness not vigor here, for some fast rez
and also this trait should be went to naturemagic, because there i whant to be able to go as a supporter

naturemagic:

-evasive purity:
should be maybe more then only poison and blind…
for remove the blind just auto attack one times is most time better then waste a dodge roll
maybe remove 1 condition when dodge roll, but can be to op then, im not sure.
but i think better its when this skill remove poison and burning, because when ppls burn they go to “dodge” for dont burn any more… just a idea…

spirits unbound:
well most time its better when the spirits dont follow you into aoe, because there they die fast… spirits need a totaly rework in my mind

-enlargement:
for my ideas a beastmastery trait and should be
50% insteat of 25%

two handet training:
well hard to say, what should the greatsword ranger do..
but i think it should goes to skirmishing or wildness survival, to have in future some melee greatsword rangers viable, but there is much much more rework need for have a dps greatsword ranger…
but use a greatsword is not a naturemagic in my mind

-spiritual knowledge:
well totaly useless because broken spirit system
well have not write about all spirit traits, but all of them are not usefull because in my mind spirit need huge rework
or remove and put other usefull support skills into the game for rangers
this trait is so useless because spirits have 10 sec effect recharge time.
thats why i dont need 70% cast chance, because the 35% is enough then
i tried at the golems!

-cirlce of life:
this trait is also a rly bad joke…
i dont need a healing spring any more when im death
this trait should be reworked to improve the heal power of the ranger dont know,
but not this…

-vigorous spirits:
well spirits need much much more hp
but dont like them, for me its better to remove and think about 4 new nice skills
maybe some one have good ideas for spirits

concentration training:
its beastmastery trait for my ideas

well here i whant bing changes, because i whant to choose as ranger to use a pet or dont use a pet.
4 new skills f1-f4 whould be nice, because most other classes have much more active skill use then a ranger

first of all it whould be nice to have only a pet when u put the first 5 points into beastmastery, the pet swapp quickness should be a useable trait.
then the traits should be improve the pets houw u whant to play.
maybe play with dmg pets, condi pets or support pets
also whant to have 100% pet controll about all pet skills f1-f4, handle this with give the ranger new skills f1-f3 and can swap them with f4 maybe to have the pet skills from f1-f3 ready, well there im not a game designer but something like that whould be nice!
now to the traits allrdy not usefull at beastmastery

-intimidation training:
the dogs and wolfes allrdy have a cripple or fear at there f2 skills
why they should crippe then again with this trait?
when u use a wolf, u will never use this trait because the fear cripple then, and thats bad for decap points
also spiders have allrdy immobilizes, why they should crippe then with this trait?
this trait should be removed

-stability training:
why i should give my pet staby when i swapp to the other pet? Oo
why my bear and pig pets need staby?
this trait should be removed

-masters bound:
should be removed, because in this gameply much pet swap is need.
because in pve also in pvp pets die to fast for this trait

ok thats the traits again, i wrait my weapon and skill ideas too soon…
but its just sad to write it the 3. time now!

weapons:
important here, i have forget it at the traits… the dmg when u dont run pets should go back to the ranger!
when u run pets u cant skill the dmg traits! because u need the 30 points in the beastmastery for strong not dieing pets.
so my ideas whould not destroy the beastmaster tank build atm
also u can go then with 30 beastmastery and use dmg traits
but then u have no survive!

longbow: (the dps build bow)

skill 1: should be shoot much faster, have a constant dmg not this distances system
for sure balanced!
skill 2: think this one is ok, should be the burst skill of the ranger for burst one target
this game have much arrow blocks, think it whould be not to strong
skill 3: this one should also have a dodge like the shortbow, give the swiftness to the
ranger and cripple the enemy (the 10 vulnerability goes to skill 4
skill 4: this one is ok, rly nice one, but should have the 10 vulnerability
skill 5: well i dont like this one at pvp, but think its ok one.
for me whould be a aoe multi shoot more nice which fires 10 arrows forward
with not to high cooldown time

shortbow: (the condition build bow)

skill 1: always bleeding and no need to flank or attack from behind for this, and no
i think it whould be not op!
skill 2: fine
skill 3: fine
skill 4: fine
skill 5: fine

sword:
nice job anet, love this weapon

dagger:
nice job anet, love this weapon

axe in main hand:
skill 1: is to useless, there are much other classes have rly strong auto attacks, why then
the axe should not have, its just a condi dps mix weapon where nobody rly
know for what he should use it, well atm the beastmasters because the
5 bleeding when good hit and the slow to make the pet hit more times.

axe in second hand:
skill 4: should cripple too
skill 5: should have more dps, so u can run sword axe for dps with axe 5 after
use the sword 2 to jump to the enemy
or give it also melee block for a safe urself weapon.
one of this 2 ideas, im not sure which one is better, but for me the dmg one
sounds more interesting

greatsword: (should be the melee weapon for a dps ranger)
this weapon need much more dps dmg and speed

skill 1: this weapon feels so sloooow and im a ranger not a warrior
there whould be some more attack speed nice and remove the random dodge
skill 2: this skills look like a slow hard attacking warrior skill who dont care about
get a hit into his armor or not and not like a ranger skill who is fighting with
leather armor.
here whould be a side dodge attack skill nice to see
this skill should do a sideward dodge and then attack into the side of the enemy
with well dmg
skill 3: this one is ok, i like it, also because combo field jump is rly important for
rangers heal
skill 4: nice skill its ok one, maybe more less cooldown
skill 5: this one should also have a dodge, and maybe more daze/stun time

this changes whould make the longsword not op,
because sword/dagger also have 3 dodges
this one have with my ideas 2 dodges and 1 block
also i whant this for a dps ranger when he have to go into melee situation
to make dmg and survive vs 1 person which is starting to chase him

torch:
nice weapon, its fine

skills:

spirits:

for a naturemagic support ranger whould be nice, when the ranger is able to create more and easy combofields instead of the 4 spirit skills.
there whould be some skills nice to create some combofields
-combofield ice skill instead of frost spirit
-combofield fire skill instead of sun spirit
-combofield light skill instead storm spirit
-combofield ?“blind”? skill instead of the stone spirit to get invis
well i have there not best ideas for spirits, but im sure spirits are totaly useless and there is not much to do, to make them more usefull… they are also in pve totaly crap :/
i hope some one post some good ideas for spirits…
because they need a rework!

trapps:

-frost trap:
cooldown should be the same like at the other trapps, not much trappers used this trapp much

rest is ok, nice skills

shouts:

well , i dont like any one of them Oo
only one which is a bit nice to use is sick em…

the other 3 ones should be reworked in my mind

survival:

well this skills are all fine, gj here
maybe zephy need less cooldown
and remove this 50% less self heal when ranger use it

sigils:

think they are also fine

well thats the traits, weapons and skills i think they are not ok
and some ideas for changes…

at least, PLS RANGERS use this topic and post ideas.
and yes i know each class need much changes,
so create topics like this, instead of qq out other build topics, because this stop the fun and make the community flame and hate, i also flamed much in such topics…

ah, and i dont whant a op ranger, i whant not working builds to get worked… i think nobody whant hes class get op
