honestly, why can’t you push a patch through at 4am-7am when nobody is online?
its 11:50 now, the servers are still pretty active.
but this will mean the end of pvp for the night, there will be too few players now.

last week a patch was pushed through right in the middle of primetime (i’m not sure what exact time, but i think it was around 8pm) and it really made the servers empty for nearly the whole night.

is it really so hard to patch EU servers in the morning?!

you’re still awake, and now you can’t pvp because there are literally no players
they could have patched at 3am UTC which would have been early morning for the whole of europe.

but instead they patch now when the servers were still pretty active, now they’re dead.

there are no hotjoin servers and only 2 people in desolation mists (a pretty active server) you won’t get a tournament game now for the rest of the night.
game over, all because Anet can’t patch at decent times.

but they have EU and NA servers, why not patch the eu servers in afew hours while the EU is sleeping and patch the NA servers afew hours after that when america is sleeping?

Because its easier for them to do it once, and probably NA makes them more money than EU so why waste time?

Its past midnight in EU, so not anywhere close to primetime.

With all due respect to my EU friends ( I normally play during EU “primetime”) just be glad that the patch is rather quick and usually without any major issues.

Now back to complaining about whatever class/spec you can’t kill…

If you think this is bad, try getting a patch 1 hour into WvW reset on a Friday night. Now that is poor planning on ANET’s part.

I never understood that style.

Personally I blame Obamacare.
