will gw2 pvp sell any expansions?
Bad start, even worse continuity, guess what about the end…
Slow & (steady) just didn’t work at all.
Anyways => no pvp expansion no matter whakittens not casual…
so we have a large, well written engine which includes observer mode and some form of rating / match making… earning very little revenue.
nc soft says, “does not matter. made monies from RNG boxes. wheeeeee”
Anet can’t make meaningful changes, nonetheless changes in a timely manner.

So many, unfulfilled promises,
Too small steps, but the road is too long,
PvP died somewhere around november 2012.

PvE will thrive with ncsoft RNG boxes!

I hope they will add PvP for everyone not just 8 teams and 4 shoutcasters. Because in the past months the whole game was built only around them.
Think about it. Tournaments with same guys every week, observer mode where only the invited few can watch the match and then twitch it, and now the authorized shoutcaster program. Rather than having in-game tournaments and an open observer mode for the top rated tournament battles, we are watching player made skirmishes through a non-in-game engine.
Awesome and community friendly for sure.

SPVP is a bad investment, it requires a complete redesign, with some core thinks that need to be changed (for example, AOE is out of control, they know is out of control and yet they did nothing, because AOE is a core design of gw2 spvp, you need AOE, it’s bad, but what u gonna do, redesign a lot of weapon skills ?)
So they can pour all the money there, make a pvp expansion with a lot of redesign and maybe get some success (MAYBE), or they can make a pve expansion with more boxes and win real money.
Right now they are doing the right thing, generate as much hype as they can for the spvp side, keep telling everyone that their working about the issues (which is true), try to make some money with arenas and avoid talking about any ETA’s at all, because if u don’t say when, you are never lying. For example, they can say that we will have warrior balanced, when it’s ready, and because there is no ETA, it will happen sometime between now and the end of the universe (nothing guarantes that you will live long enough to see it, but it will happen, if not in this universe in some other ).

If the game is indeed dead, what are you doing on the forums?
GG constructive feedback.

I always love people who complain, claim the PvP is dead and then come to the PvP forums to tell us. If it were truly dead you wouldnt need to come here to claim it to be so. Instead I will continue playing nightly with my team and having a good time.

You can lead a horse to water but you can’t make him drink.
will pvp players buy expansion ? maybe if they want more skills, weapons, classes, races, weapon skins…so maybe
they will probably sell a lot, game is fun if u do pve/wvw for a while it worths the 50$ … but pvp yea its garbage if u buy it you are a masochist or you havent played many mmos.
well i dont doubt the expansion will sell.
i doubt if anyone will buy it because they want to stay competitive / current with this pvp.
ncsoft is missing out on a revenue opportunity by releasing an mmo without a real pvp mode.
