A way to see what people are wearing
I agree completely because of what OP said.
4x Necromancer, 3x Mesmer, 4x Guardian, 4x Thief, 4 Revenant
some people want every player in the instance up to a certain standard.
in other words you are discriminating players based on their gear.

Or maybe u need a good build to a hard dungeon?
umm I’m wearing the 252,000 karma armor set that is equal to any of the dungeon sets and I’m still getting my kitten handed to me. anyone with the obsidian armor in GW was no more powerful than someone with armor from Drokar, in GW there was no one more powerful than any other lvl 20’s running around thats what made GW such a treasure for so many of us…..quit trying to change my game to WoW an EQ.

prescript-ed builds limit the innovation. so no ty

Good point. They have already made bad decision with rares and exotics and probably adding legendaries an so on. They should’ve kept the “Max Armor” philosophy and only the skins should do the difference.

I disagree completely with what the OP has said. Dungeons are pretty much off-limits to anyone except elitist snobs anyway, so why make it even easier for them to discriminate? You’d almost be forgiven for believing that these self-styled elitists begging for /inspect options had never been noobs themselves in the past.
People using Magic-Find and dragging down groups is not a legitimate reason for gear-inspection.
It’s a legitimate reason to change the magic-find mechanic itself so it’s more group-beneficial.
Being able to see what people are wearing causes elitism. People being kittens and raging at allies because their gear is “inadequate” in the face of their overly rich standard.
Lv80s: Guard, Thief, Necro. Renewed my Altaholic’s card on the HoT Hype-Train. Choo choo~
I’m not meaning to discriminate, but I have 2 head to toe exotic sets including trinkets ect. I notice a difference between the two, albeit minor compared to skill levels ill admit. I wouldn’t mind an alteration in the way mf works but at the moment others will contribute more to killing mobs while the mf players who sacrifice a dominant stat on every piece of hear as well as tunes and sigils make more gold and loot. I don’t see that as fair. I don’t really care what happens thought I’d voice my opinion and see what others felt. The dungeons themselves need some kind of reworking in a number of ways anyways. Thanks for the feedback though I realize what I said might not be the solution at all :/
Gw1 was a gem because everyone had same stats and you pinged your builds to show your viability for a given dungeon or situation. however if you had a garbage build, an dint have the skills to put together something the group was okay with you wouldn’t be coming along sadly. So with the decision to make tiers of gear from rare, exotic, ascended, and legendary they have sort of brought it on themselves. We can’t see if someone’s build is viable, ad we can’t see if they have proper gear on. It’s a gamble that usually ends as often as it doesn’t in failure because a bunch of ransoms are thrown into a dungeon.
