Adding a dye to our weapons.
We could do this in GW1, so why not now? Acc-bound the thing if you really want but man I wanna paint my warez.
+1, I would like it also.
There were rumors hinted from an Anet dev few days ago that this feature might be coming to the game next week.
I was surprised that is was/is not possible yet when I started playing. Good idea.
I miss dying my weapons to match my armor in GW1! Like, matellic weapons wouldn’t show much of a change, but weapons like the Mursaat weapons, the chaos axe, and the Storm Bow looked awesome when dyed!
I also don’t think legendaries should be dyable! Who wants a pink Twilight?
+1
and i think the weapon’s particle effects should have a dedicated dye slot.
In addition, it would also be nice if we could dye our back item and underclothes. After the Southsun events, I was jealous of all the NPCs swimming in their different colored suits, some even had different suits!

Yes. I also want to change my backpack color!
Trims, decals and etc, I fully agree with you. Imagine that sword from the Inquest dungeon, but with colors besides red. Cool, right? Lavender-colored lightning and whatnot.
But… There’s a limit. Blades and the weapon bits shouldn’t be dyeable. A sword shouldn’t have a solid hot pink blade. It’s a tad immersion breaking.
I would love this ability, even if it was fully locked down so that legendary weapons could not be dyed, or blades could only be effected by specific dyes (like metallic types).
Would also love to see dyes used for back-pieces.

Bumping this again because it would be awesome. Please consider!
