a request for medium armor that shows norn tattoos.
specifically: i run a female norn ranger, and can’t find any medium gear that will show the lovely tattoo art she’s clearly spent hours in a chair getting done.
currently only the duelist chest shows any of the belly tattoos, and none show the arm or back tattoos. there are 2 legs that do an ok job, but they’re not particularly attractive. just a few more choices of medium gear that would show more skin, please.

I support this. Let me take it a step further.

I want to suggest more armor of each type (light, medium, heavy) that shows off more Norn tats for both male and female. After all, I did pick the tattoos because I want to see them. The same could be said about my Sylvari’s skin and glow pattern.

Anyway, yeah more armor variety please.

thank you for posting that as my ranger is my only norn at the moment, i didn’t want to assume there weren’t options for other gear types!

Don’t forget the Charr or the Slyvari. ^^ I carefully selected a nice fur pattern on my Charr and a skin pattern with glow on my Sylvari and the armor I have covers them. Both of them needs armor, low level and max, that show them off. Specifically, “skimpy” armor. For the Charr: loin cloth, chest straps, wrist and ankle bands. For the Sylvari: any human type skimpy armor.

I want a *Hide Chest Armour"-option for my male Norn.

For the Sylvari, at least the racial armors glow. But if you hate them, then that’s not a solution.

GW1 had revealing armor that looked quite good, (although Medium armor didn’t have that many :/ ), maybe GW2 will have more in the future.

I admit i’v always found it kinda funny how armor covers up so much detail. I run a sylvari and I can’t bring myself to cover up her hair, or skin/glow. yes we can dye are armor in amazing ways but it feels like a crime when you destroy those beautiful markings. lucky for me I found nice heavy set that shows off my characers back so people still get a good look at my glow/skin in the dark.

I’d have to ask you where the armor was.

Leather armour needs to stop being a trench coat or an asymmetrical couture piece.

IMO if they added the GW1 armors from the start (and i don’t mean 3 of them, all of the armors) then we would have allot more choices, i simply want my necrotic armor back and i am sure more ppl are feeling this way.

Both the named and t2 cultural show off a good chunk of your torso.

mhm. and i have her wearing the t2 set, but that’s hardly a solution. it shows the ab section of her tats, but the shoulders, thighs, and that incredible raven tat on her back are all covered solid. and not even with a highly attractive outfit. it’s one of the nicer ones available, imo, but that’s like saying eggplant is one of the nicer vegetables when you offer it to a 6 yr old.

i’m not saying there’s nothing out there. simply that what little there is could use some improvement. we have awesome tattoo options, and bugger all for gear that lets us show them off
