Okay, this is a tiny suggestion and it may sound a little silly, but I think after the sale a lot of people would like it. Could you please expand the character select screen to show eight characters rather than seven?

If this requires any significant amount of time to achieve then I would much prefer resources be spent elsewhere, as this is obviously a very minor point. However, I think that the majority of players, if choosing a number of characters, will go for one for every class. It’d be really nice to be able to see the whole team at the same time.

I just don’t have enough alts yet, so I guess I just haven’t noticed — but it’s surprising that this would happen. What do you have to do, switch to another “page” of characters for 8 and up? This sounds pretty inconvenient. I can see why it’s not exactly Priority One for them, but given the fact that there are 8 classes it seems odd that 7 would be the magic number.

Yeah the character selection screen wasn’t really future proofed. Sure there’s 8 classes now but once a few expansions come out I’m sure well see more and having to scroll through them can be a small but noticeable annoyance. There is the possibility of giving users different display options so you can list your characters in a number of ways.

It isn’t inconvenient to switch, it literally is just a mouse click to scroll through your characters. This is more of an aesthetic issue than a convenience one. It would just be really cool to see all of your characters, plus trophies etc. on the log in screen. As there doesn’t seem to be a cap on characters I understand that the scroll is required. I’m just taking a guess that the most common number of character slots (for people that have the gems) will be eight, and it doesn’t really affect anyone with fewer than eight.

As I say, its a really minor thing, but I was hoping it would also be a really minor fix.

I dont mind it in its current implementation but I’d appreciate being able to fit 8 chars (which is the number I currently have) without having to flip a page.

Charr are too fat, there is no way 8 of them would fit in one screen

that what happen to gw’s 1 with faction and nightfall was released and you attached it to your gw’s 1 account but at least 1 slot for each profession at least do make sense anymore then that is just a repeat..
