Dungeon Awards System
While the intention is fine, sadly it will only create mindless elitism.
So no.
Time challenge sounds fun though.
P.S. Next time use the search function. Plenty of threads like these
this sounds like a good idea laurel, it would actually give the most credit to those that actually deserve it. as it is, someone could be tearing it up in the dungeon and someone would just stand back and not try as much but still get the same rewards

How so? It would just pat someone on the back for taking the time out Ot do a build useful to a party.
This is why:
Some stats at the end might be nice too, I would love to know who had the biggest hit and how much.
Player A: How much did you guys hit for, care to link?
Player B: random number
Player A: Lol noob are you only wearing rares? kick/block
EDIT: Also because of this:

Ummm…. Hmmmm not really. While braggarts are the norm in dungeons actually having a figure in front of you showing your performance in an area relative to another player is still useful. Player A sounds like a dick who wouldn’t even party with a noob to start with even w/o actual numbers demonstrating effectiveness at the end.
By the same token:
Player A: Wow player b did 15k with a critical hit?
Player B: yeah I [list of items] with maintenance oil and truffle steak
Player A: wow I’m going to farm those runes and had no idea huntsman could produce a buff that gives you +100 precision
I mean the fact that a negative use of the awards exist doesn’t guanrtee negativity in all cases.
Player A: wow you healed 50000 hp and protected me for over 20000 hits?
Player B: yeah I am primarily healing power [links to gear]
Player A: I’m adding you as a friend, let’s do Twilight Arbor together next week.
Showing the results of each player in a quantifiable way can produce positive results, while also making the contributions of support and disable players more apparent.
In regards to your link that happened with out tangible dungeon statistics.

I trully undersand what you mean, and trust me I’m one of those “wow I’m going to farm those runes and had no idea huntsman could produce a buff that gives you +100 precision” guys.
But the problem is that’s an utopia. As far as I’ve seen it, and I’ve seen lots because I only used to pug till some time ago (mind you I still pug a lot but not as much as i used to), the community in this game is made roughly by 60% of “kitten” as you called em. And I’m afraid that a tool like this will only create more. Imo, the risk is there and it’s greater than the reward.
Cool well I am glad we can share some ground and in my guild there are numerous elitists and stuff, but I still think it would e useful to me to have some type of measurement of dungeon abilities. I run new to dungeoners through dungeons all the time in my guild and being ale to rank and determine strengths and weaknesses would help a lot. The other day We did Ac with a level 28 who was still using a level 7 pistol for instance, so we waited while he black Lioned some new gear. Maybe losing a damage and tank reward (after all damage and tanks are what most people think of when it comes to dungeons) and rewarding good crowd control (necromancers!) or effective healing might bring out some other sides in the far to competitive world of dungeon running.
