Late august GW2 launched. Late October, about two months after launch, the Mad King smashed the LA fountain. We are halfway through January, two and a half months after the fountain was broken and it’s still broken.

It’s been broken for more time than it was running in the first place. Even if you include the BWEs as time it was functional.

The reconstruction process was nice to see, but it’s taking far too long.

So, you’re so worried about the fountain in Lion’s Arch so much that you make a thread complaining that it’s taking too long to “fix”, and it’s not even a major issue with the game?

i laughed so much at this thread i gave my +1 i completely forgot there was a fountain there!

Know what this reminds me of? World of Warcraft, when Deathwing destroyed the front towers of Stormwind City. Yeah, they are finally fixing those in about two to three months, and that was way longer.

The dance parties that occurred on top of the planks were worth far more than the fountain.

I think we could walk over the fountain before it exploded.

I figured they were going to have it completely rebuilt in September just in time to destroy it again in October. :P

They should make the fountain the white elephant of GW2

that just reminds me of that repeating NPC in lion’s arch that just keeps on repeating please help rebuild lion’s arch…
